Platform evaluation
Explore EFIRM96, EPLATE and software as a connected research configuration.

Explore EFIRM96 instruments, EPLATE consumables and software for your research institution or laboratory operating under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA). Use the research-use-only EFIRM (Electric Field-Induced Release and Measurement) platform for target-specific evaluation and assay development. CLIA laboratory certification does not authorize a product or assay.

Build target-specific research assays and kits around your recognition chemistry, sample matrix and analytical objectives.
Request a quotation and order-specific lead time. Instrument software, training and general technical support are included.
EFIRM96, EPLATE and software provide a platform on which customers can research targets and develop their own assay kits.
Select the analyte or sequence, specimen matrix, intended research use and appropriate comparator.
Develop capture and detector probes or other target-specific reagents, and define the electrode and control layout.
Assess precision, detection limits, interference and matrix effects using suitable reference materials and controls.
Document the protocol, instrument settings and data interpretation, then assess reproducibility in the receiving laboratory.
Instrument purchase includes local software, training and general support. Method-development scope is agreed per project. A research plan should define EZLife’s support, the developer’s protocol and reagent work, and the receiving laboratory’s independent evaluation responsibilities. Diagnostic use requires validation for its intended use and an appropriate pathway.
Selected epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) variants provide one example of EFIRM research in plasma and saliva. Other applications require their own recognition chemistry, controls and validation.
Published detection without polymerase chain reaction (PCR) uses enzyme-mediated signal generation. Study results describe the target, sample type and experimental setup in each paper; research prototypes do not establish EFIRM96 product specifications.
Existing EFIRM96 instruments, EPLATE consumables and instrument software are available for delivery.
Larger orders may require contract manufacturing. Lead times depend on order size, configuration and production arrangements and are confirmed during quotation.
Instrument purchase includes software for use on that instrument only, training and general technical support.
For assay-development guidance, we prioritize discussing collaboration; paid support may also be arranged on a project-by-project basis.
Published meat-species research demonstrates direct, PCR-free measurement of selected mitochondrial DNA targets after sample treatment.
Species-specific recognition provides evidence for a particular food-identity assay. It does not establish a validated disease test or performance for every mitochondrial sequence.
Discuss selected mitochondrial sequences, variants and heteroplasmy research with a target-specific assay plan. These are research directions requiring new feasibility and validation work.
Assess sample preparation, specificity against nuclear mitochondrial DNA sequences (NUMTs), controlled mixture gradients and independent comparison methods.
96 measurement channels do not establish 96 independently reportable samples per run. Controls, replication and target allocation consume positions; the assay layout determines throughput.
